your tire goes flat what are you gonna do. Can you use any of that can stuff to fill the puntured tire with. Just wondering cause I might take out my spare and jack for good, and just put it back in on trips.

get a friend with another prelude or an accord.... That way if you pop a tire you can use there spare or if they have rims you can just use one of there regular wheels/

I think you can some of that can stuff to fill the tire, but I think it will only work if you have a small hole.

Let me tell you my storry now, when I had my Integra I removed the spare. This was over the summer my friend and I were going to a resort to party. He was driving his accord and I was in Integra. This was a 2 hour ride, about 3/4 of a ride while driving through a very twisty mountain road I hit a big ass rock. My front tire went flet in a second. I thought I was going to freak out. I couldn't use my friends spare because it wouldn't fit. Luckily my Dad was at the resort. My friend got me a ride there, this was 3am. I had to take my Dad's car, drive home, get the spare, go back put the spare on, go pick up my dad, bring him back to my car and then at 6am I was safely home. You can imagine how bad this sucked.

I don't carry a spare! I call my insurance and get a tow. That's why I pay 1.00 a month for tow coverage!

I just have it out and hope for the best. No problems yet. If I did drive across the country I would throw it back in.

Yeah, get yourself a AAA card and a cell phone and its all good. AAA will tow you for free if you're ever in a jam too.

It's all about the AAA membership, and the tow coverage on my USAA insurance. Plus, I don't think a donut spare would work too well w/ how stiff my car is, and my 17's...

I took my spare out after I popped it by mounting an amplifier temporarily on the floor board. I didn't know I punctured it until I removed the amp and heard this pssssss. I do have a full size spare that I leave at home.

Im not sure taking it out would be a benefit. It doesnt weight all that much, and you would just be upsetting the already horrible 70/30 weight split.

I have mine in most of the time, unless I need the room for something, or im going to Costco. I do keep it on for long trips though.

Every little bit helps, though... and weight removal is a free mod, hehe.
