I have the KYB's with coilovers and I love them. when fully lowered (3inches) the ride is boucy but not too bad. at 11/2 inch drop it's smooth. for the cash I spent they work great for me. I have had them for about 9months

ok so do i go with the kyb agx on stock springs or for an extra $30 do i get the tokico spring and shock set? do the tokicos suck? will they blow up faster?

how much of a pain is it to drive a lowered car? ie speedbumps, cause i hit hard already stock

A lot of people seem to love their Tokicos, but for an extra I-don't-know-how much, why not just go for Koni Yellows. I know you're probably on a tight budget like 99% of us here, but as many will tell you (including me), it's worth the saving up for.

About the "fun" of driving a lowered car, for me, it's a love/hate relationship. You GOTTA love the looks, but you'll have to learn to drive more carefully, esp on poorly maintained city/downtown streets. Lower usually means stiffer, so things will start to vibrate in/on your car. If you own a Honda, you can't worry about this too much, or it will drive you insane. Carefully drive up driveways, and watch your car when parking near curbs. Friends will open the door on high-curbs, and ScRaTcH!!! Just be careful 'til you know your car better, and then STILL be careful even after you know it. Have fun!!

...nothing compares. I have a 93 Prelude: suspension MODS-
DC Sports Front/Rear Upper Strut bars
DC Sports Rear undertie Bar
Koni Adjustable Gas Shocks (set to the FIRMEST)
Eibach Sportline Springs
Hyper Flex Suspension Polyurethane Bushings

.... and next week Neuspeed REAR sway bar...

I Take exit ramps at 80mph I can go faster BUT i don't wanna push it, Its amazing how my car handles.... Koni's are a big influence a lot of my friends got the Tokickos, KYB, b/c it was cheaper and they ALL hate them. They said they should've just paid $200 more and got the Konis...

If you live in New York, I'd give you a test drive in the passenger seat..

Jose

BTW - I am rolling on stock 15" Si Rims... FOR NOW.

Gonna get me some 16" Rota Slipstreams (Black) wrapped in Yokohoma Paradas...

Can we say REYNOLDS?? B/C it's WRAP!
