How To Install JDM BB4 Digital Climate Control w/out removing your dash...

Today i successfully installd my JDM BB4 digital climate control without removing my dash. everything is working fine except the two probs below. If u have any questions re how i did it let me know.

I did, however, ran into two problems...

Problem 1: The PNK wire on the Heater core temperature sensor goes to pin No. 20 on the JDM 20 pin connector. There is no pink wire connector for the No. 20, JDM 20 pin. The No. 20 hole was empty. Where do i connect the pink wire to??

Problem 2: My Digital Climate control wont illuminate at night. The icons in the main display lights up, but the auto switch, off switch, hot/cold switch, defrost switch, and in car circulation switch icons wont light up at night. the unit is completely dark at night, except for the main ractangle display in the middle. You know how the factory radio lights up when u turn on the parking light at night... what causes this??

Please see the video below, Notice the main display and the whole unit light up at night. But my JDM Digital climate control didnt.

Help. thanks.

just found out why...

my JDM DCC was from 96 prelude and it didnt support heatercore sensor. that is why i didnt have a pink wire on the no. 20, JDM 20 pin connector.

my JDM DCC didnt illuminate at nite becos all the bulbs inside are broken. i took it apart today and found that out.

so many idiots on this site are useless. they cant even ans a simple ques.

why don't you shut the **** up?

USDM Preludes didn't come with auto climate control, that's why none of us have experience with the system

my apology ppl...

to answer ppl questions...

the in dash vid link from youtube.com wasnt my car. im using it as an example.

i believe it was a flat dvd screen using bluetooth remote control to change channels. It was a wireless screen. yes, u do need to remove ur dashboard for that one.

as for the JDM DCC... if u just want it to work w/out auto function all u need is JDM DCC unit and air mix motor. thats it! with this setup u can change which vent the air go in and use hot/cold function. u can also use incar recirculation, rear window defrost, off, and demist function.

if you are expecting intelligent people to ignore your comment then you must be a very dumb person to post it in the first place.

IMO you are 100% IDIOT! no joke on that one!
