There's a top screw on top that makes it hard to screw out. What did you guys do to get it out?

Are you talking about the rear speakers? You need to unscrew them from the trunk first the whole asembly will come out with the grill.

i think hes talking aboutt he side ones. on the doors. if so i believe youhave to take off the whole door panel. find all the screws..i belive theres like 4 or 5..and yank the door panel with a litle force because its held on my clips also.

yeah, take the door panel off. and the speaker is screwed into a plastic insert in the door panel. the hardest part is getting around the door handle.
