How the heck do ya get the 7th speaker out!

I have a 93 VTEC with the 7th speaker thingy. The speaker is blown and I want to replace it. It turns out that to get the the thing, is a pain in the @$$. I took the seats out and there are these tabs that hold the plastic on that covers the speaker. I tried pulling on them but I don't wanna break it. Has anyone attempted what I need to have done and succeeded?

I don't have a 7th speaker but I have taken apart that area with the piece of plastic where the 7th speaker is. I don't remember it being too hard once the seats where out.

This sucks! The 92-93 ludes have all kinds of ****ty problems. The seats on the 94-96 ludes supposedly just pull right out with no tools required. On my 93, you have to unbolt the top half of the back seat to get it out. Then they get the electro gauges, the light on the spoiler, the center console, I could go on. I think I am gonna sell this peice of **** and get me a 94 or 95.

It pissed me off because when I was turning one of the bolts, the sucker broke in half so now I have a peice of bolt stuck in the bolt hole. Now, I won't ever be able to get it out.

whoa, whoever put it there must've torqued it with an impact wrench or something

im sure there's a way to take that remaining bolt out of there

It's not like it is a necissary bolt. You only really need one of the two or if you are like me no one ever sits behind the driver.
