How hard does your AC Blow?

Well its getting around that time again when we are all going to
start needing our AC once again. Where i'm at it gets very humid
so i cant live without it, although I'm kinda iffy on something.. well my ac doesnt blow very hard, when i put it on High, the center two vents do blow relatively well, but the two side vents completely suck. Especially the one on my driver door, this one gets almost 0 air going through it.. anyone know why this might be?

I've been in other cars, and damn i'm jealous of AC that good, it might be that mine is old, but is there anyway to recover that type of performance out of this thing?(might not be possible to get it to the type an F-150 has.. and its what i am comparing to)

how hard does yours blow?

my drivers side sucked. to fix it just take the bottom part out under the dash so you can get a clear view of everything. i can bet you that the hose or whatever it is that guides the air to the vent is not lined up. mine wasnt.

you mean out of the console?.. like to front portion right? well i checked the door panel itself, and it does have it lined up.. i need
to get it fixed, i thought i would get my ac to blow harder replacing it, but its not likely.. you're right american AC #1!..

thing i have a question about is also.. how long does yours take to cool?.. like it starts blowing hot then how long usually to have it get into cooling phase, and cool the car?

My AC doesn't suck now. I just replaced the blower motor a couple of weeks ago. In the hot, humid weather around here it takes a max of a minute to start blowing cold, and it blows strong out of all vents.

I had the same problem with my car. My center vents blew hard, but my side vents blew like ****. There is a fan by the passanger side's right leg that actually blows/fans the air into the vents. I unbolted the fan and actually found debris in the fan. There were a lot of leaves/some pinecone stuff. I basically had to shake/pick everything out. I re-bolted the fan and turned it back on and it seemed to make it a lot better.

My AC is dead. Doesn't blow cold at all. I'm in TX, if you see a guy in a red lude with sweat dripping down his face, that's me. BTW, I got some r134a recharging stuff from walmart and it tells me to stick it in the "low pressure" side. if I stick it in High pressure side I run the risk of it "blowing up and causing serious bodily injury". So where and which is the low pressure side?

i've refilled my own before, the low pressure side is pretty much the only one you'll be able to fit the hose on to.. there are two hoses that are on the AC, one has a larger inlet than the other..
the smaller one is the lower pressure inlet, it has a blue cap, i think the black cap is the high pressure, check your manual, but i'm pretty sure on that though.. and remember turn your ac on to full blast, then hook that **** up for the refill.. i'm going to do mine
tommorrow night, first gonna check those ac inlets and fans..
thanks for all the tips again.. no more windows down

close the little defoster things on top by the window all the way and the air will come out harder plus if you close off some of the other main vent all the air will push to the diver door side too

well, i cleaned out the fan you all were speaking of,, was a pain in the ass to get back in there!!! but anyway, i got it in.. and went and bought some AC refrigerant, and unfortunately it made no difference, the guage is reading FULL and i'm getting hot air still .. wonder whats wrong.. how crappy. i'm going to sweat all the way home..

i'm missing the hose under the driver dash portion.. the one to my vent thats why its not getting air..
