do you guys think someone who's never really touched cars but has a helms could do it safely? like without breaking anything and without risk of the brakes giving out or something (that usually has to do with bleeding ...) but yea still... what you guys think? or just pay for a mechanic to do it for me?

I found it to be easy. Its pretty straightforward. But then again if you've never really messed with cars, I don't recommend you start doing so by servicing the braking system.
