How to get OBDI ECU pins (swap-related)

Ugh! I can't seem to find OBDI ECU pins anywhere. I tried calling several local junkyards, *none* of which claimed to have any OBDI hondas in stock. Totally bizarre. For you H22 swapped guys, where did you manage to find the ECU pins for the swap? Has anyone had any luck using wire pins from an electronics store (like Radio Shack)? This is the last bit of my swap left...and it's frustrating me.

You can try cracking open a radio harness. I just used the "twist and jam" method and it has worked fine for 3+ years

i dunno about the "twist & jam" method, i'd rather avoid it if at all possible.

how do you get the wires to stay in the ECU? i imagine that copper wire would bend pretty easily and be reluctant to seat in the ECU sockets. i wish i had the ECU and connectors in front of me so i could see what would be involved.

couldn't you just use some wire pins from an electronics store (i.e., Radio Shack or its equivalent in your area) to come up with something between the "twist & jam" and the "proper" method? i'd rather have the wrong sized pin than no pin at all...at least i think.

I'm swapping from an Si, so I just need the pins for the VTEC solenoid, and VTEC oil pressure. They're pins A4 and D6. They're different sizes---I think A4 is one of the big pins and D6 is the standard size. I'll PM you with my info.

That was my original intent as well. I told myself doing it that way was just a temporary solution to get the car working correctly . . . but now it's hard to jusity pulling the carpet and all those bolts to get to the ECU when it's never caused any problems.
