How to fix a sqeaky clutch?!

Hey, whenever i depress the clutch, wether the car be turned off or on or anything, it squeaks. I have isolated it to under that rubber arm or bonnet over the peice where the clutch connects. Can i just spray some WD-40 or something under the rubber peice? Or what? how can i fix this squeak?
Thanks

It probably wouldn't hurt to try spraying some on all the pivoting joints and see if that gets rid of the squeak. If it does then you can go and coat it with a thin layer of grease so that it lasts longer than a spray. Good luck.

I doubt WD-40 or grease is going to help any at all. My car does it too. It's the throw-out bearing wearing out. Read more here: Throw-out Bearing Squeaking

Oh, but he said the squeak is coming from the pedal area. Not sure, but I don't think the throw out bearing is gonna squeak with the car off.

it's not near the pedal

it's under the actual engine, and to the left
so i'll try spraying some WD-40 in there, see what happens, thanks!

I have a little sqeek. I guess it is the throw out bearing. Hopefully it will go away when I replace my clutch whenever it goes out.

Its not the throw out bearing my car used to do that even after I replaced the clutch, like you said you have cornored it down to the rubber piece above the tranny. that is where I sprayed it down with some WD when My tranny was off and the squeeking when away, you have to work the WD-40 in a little.
