how to fix my heater

my heater went out and i dont know what it could be..maybe a fuse? The heat doesnt work and the panel with all the heater buttons dont light up but half the time? anyone know what i could possibly look at to determine both problems?

The climate control not lighting up doesn't have anything to do with the heater not working.

Does the cold / hot lever move without much resistance? The cable that goes from the lever to the heater valve in the engine bay could have broken

that sounds like you need to resolder the internal pins...

if you have a multimeter put the key in II (IG2) and chek if the plug of the heater have voltage... blu/wht is the positive and the blu/red negative... chek the blu/wht with any ground in the car and with the blu/red when you turn the blower fan...

if you want to chek if the blower is working before buying a new one... put the key in II (IG2) and connect the blu/red to any ground and it should go on at full speed

also chek the fuses... the blower fuse is under the hood (40A)
