how fast was I going?

I was riding with my friend down the highway and I decided to punch it a little bit... as most of you know, my VSS doesn't work So I dont know what speed I'm going.....

I was in 4th Gear at 6k RPM.............. I told him that I was at around 100mph, maybe a little more........... and he couldn't believe it (i guess cuz without a speedometer, it seems as if you're going slower than you really are, and the lude handles excellent at high speeds)

So one of ya'll go out in your h23, hit 6k Rpm in 4th and tell me your speed.

my 4th gear tops out around i think 100mph...so...you were probably around 50

jk, yea but this is how my ratio works..

1st gear - 0 - 40mph
2nd gear - 40 - 60mph
3rd gear - 60 - 80mph
4th gear - 80 - 100mph

I was just gonna say, my car hits about 115 in fourth...100 seems a little slow, unless Charlie drives like a girl.....

Dunno, I guess it just broke. It broke in the middle of a race with a WRX. I guess I pushed the car so hard the speedometer couldn't keep up with the rate of motion of the vehicle and when the speedometer said 40mph, it dropped down to zero.

hmm is it your vss or your speedometer? Cause if the VSS was broke you would have funky power steering and some other stuff

Yeah, the first 3 gears are quite a bit shorter in my h23 than they were in the b20a5 (3rd gen.)
