I think mine may be stripped or something, it goes up pretty high, and it's not doing a good job at all.. The other day when I was parked, my car slid about 2 feet down a small driveway incline. How do I go about replacing this? I'm assuming its a whole different process than just replacing the brakes?? Please help thanks.
Mine goes up about 6-8 clicks on both my preludes. You can tighten it by removing the console, and using the adjuster nut on the back side of the handle where the cables mount. Adjust it to where you can get it tight in about 6-8 clicks.

Yeah....mine goes ALL the way up.....some people make fun of my car cuz of that......but I don't really care because my baby will spank the isht out of any of theirs......and looks so much better doing it too.
I'm definitely gonna try the brake thing though........having a remote start-on-a-stick.......I have to rely on the e-brake to keep my car from rolling down the street.....again!
