yup, three bolts for each speaker. you have to unbolt them from the trunk, under the rear deck, then the whole grill/speaker assembly will come out from the cabin side.

they are relatively shallow. I had some infinity kappa 6.5" 3 ways and they were too deep

door speakers

Does anyone know the mounting depth of the door speaker locations? I want to put some Kappa perfects in there and they are big.

I had MB Quart seperate's in a 92 S They were pretty deep speakers. Its been a long time but I seem to remember building a ring (baffle) out of MDF to allow for the depth. Worked like a charm. Now that I'm thinking about it the woofers were actually 7" not 6.5. The door panel was deep enough with a little widening of the whole on the inside to fit and look stock. A total sleeper system with the tweeters going in the tweeter pods on the dash.
