if they're OEM, they should fit perfectly and stay in place. mine, at least, stay right in place because of the little cutout for the gas/trunk levers, and the spikes on the bottom.

^^yeah i have those........but it just seems the spikes don't stay put.........

what the matt does is slide to the right so it bunched up on the tranny tunnel.........its really annoying cause then when i press down on the clutch, the top part of the matt hits the bottom of the pedal arg

if you dont have oe floor mats, then they may not stay, especially if you have diamond plate chrome alumminum mats they really dont stay put.. put some velcrow down some on the floor mat i mean the grippy side.. and that should help you out if u can get it to stick to the bottom of the mat?

^^ velcro is a great idea. I had wondered once upon a time if there was a hole in the floor/frame like on the 5th gens where you could install the mat anchors that come with them.

Lol, interesting little tidbit for the day: the "system" of metal rings and a hook that can be used on other hondas to hold the mat in place is referred to (by Honda) as a "positive retention floormat anchor" or something similar

you can just get the OEM "tie down". it's a clip u put in this cutout that oem carpets have, and it clips into ur floormat, like a large plastic spike

mine used to do that as well. and i agree, it became to be my greatest annoyance each time in got in my car. my solution came with 5th gen mats, they came with the hardware for the stay bracket. install was cake as the hole for the hardware was already where it should be and the carpet is even perforated there for ya.
