how do you hotwire a 4th gen?

well, my car was stolen like 5 months ago and recovered after a couple days. i had been very busy this semester and didn't have time to pay attention to the car. now that summer is here i can see what the hell they did.

the theives basically ripped apart the entire console behind the steering wheel, all i see are a bunch of wires. my engine suffered some damage because they crashed the car.

i want to start the car up and see if the engine will turn or not.

i understand it's not the best idea to post how to hotwire our cars on the internet... so i will accept PM's... please.

i think i've justified my request... i await the help of PO

(i can get pics if you want to see what wires are hanging)

thanks a bunch

^^ if you know how the switch works, its easy to figure them out. I got mine all figured out for the day my ignition switch finally gives out and my car won't start.

ummm maybe cause i install remote start alarms? After all, thats all a remote starter does is "hotwire" you car in a way. It does what i just said above, puts power to those wires the same way your key tumbler does.

When you install alarmas you learn these things. And basically this is the same for almost any honda. However it wont work on the newer ones that have the chip in the key. But just how it was mentioned above, it will work to start the car.

Kill switch, alarm with starter disable (can be used in other ways). Make the wires harder to get at. etc etc

How can you test if your alarm has starter disable feature? If I try starting the car with my key while the alarm is going off, and it doesnt allow me to start it, does that mean I have a starter disable feature with my alarm?

Qveon, is there anyway to do a fuel kill switch with our cars?

yea

If your cheap/lazy/have no time to intall one, you can pull the fuel pump fuse manually everytime you park and have a "ghetto switch"
