How difficult would it be to replace a body kit? How difficult do you think?

My current body kit is more torn up than a 59 year-old hooker. How difficult would it be to replace the body kit. Would if be substantially easier than from going stock to kit? Could I do this myself despite not being a great mechanic?

My car looks horrid. I need your help.

the level of dificulty depends on your level of experience. most body kits require work to fit right. nothing is bolt on with these. I always encourage people to do it themselves only if they are comfortable with it.

stock bumpers + lip kit is the cleanest way to do this.

id rather derive without bumpers than to drive with a body kit...
theres no "mechanics" in putting on a bumper, its just a few bolts and such.

Youre going to have to send it to a bodyshop to have it painted anyways you might as well have them install it too. It will be less then when then have to take apart what you have done, fit it better and then paint it cause they wont paint someone else's work.

Yeah in a perfect world it takes just a few bolts and such. There is more to installing a body kit then just putting bolts through holes. (unless you are into the Slap Dash look)I have yet to run across a kit that straight bolts on with no problems. You are always going to have some sort of modification to make.. and if you aren't up to snuff with it then you're only option (other then having it look like ****) is to take it to a shop.
