View Poll Results: How did you make your clear deflector insert?
I created one similar to the OEM deflector and included tabs to hold it in place. 1 25.00%
I didnt creat the tabs, so the deflector has the ability to float around in the taillight 3 75.00%

How did you make your clear tails (deflector question)?

Did you make the new clear deflector with tabs in it so that it stays in its place (like the original deflector you took out)? Or did you just trace the shape out and put it in the taillight so that it could possibly move around?

If you didnt make the tabs, how do you ensure that it wont move?

find a cheap set of altezza wanna-be lights and swap the deflector in there. then it will look almost oem quality. i got someone working on mine and can ask him to send some pics.

i made the new diffuser piece that correct size to fit snugly in the spot so its not glued in and it can not move at all.

even though the silicon is clear, cant you still see it when you look closely at the tail?

When you say to make it a little bigger so it doesnt move around, do you fit it to the lens space or do you fit it to the housing?
