It's not that the color blue is a bad choice, it's that you are putting layers of acetate over a already dim light source making it more dim.

great post.
i took off the white plate, and i dont recommend anyone do it. you can see the tube and it doesnt light up the numbers evenly. ill be putting on the white part, im just really lazy. i was thinking to sand it but im a little scared ill mess it up or something. ide like to make some white/blue. maybe blue numbers and white line marks. i think that would be hot.
where did you get the light pink acetate, and what brand is it?
