Hello,

I've got four freshly remanufactured calipers in boxes I just bought online. I am going to paint the calipers, but they are covered with a light coat of oil.

What should I use to remove the oil? Brake Cleaner? Soap and water?

I just don't know if either of those is bad for the seals and boots.
