Hey, I was wondering how you would check the cel on a 95 if it only comes on after driving it for like 2 miles? Can I jump the connector to check or does your car have to be turned off to do that?
Well I tried to jump the con. , What color wires run to the connector? I tried jumping it but no check engine light? BTW the check engine is only on after driving like a mile, then goes away after the car is tourned off.... im lost :confused like a mofo:

Blue connector behind the radio. Jump with paperclip and turn key to ON position. Count long and short flashes and report back.
The ecu stores the codes so you just do like everyone said before, turn the car off but make sure the key is in the "ON" position. The light should come on solid stick the jumper into the blue connector and count the blinks.
