I just wanted to say that there is no need to tighten the filter down with the tool. You can just hand tighten it on there....that should be good enough. If you tighten it with the tool, you risk stripping the threads on the oil filter housing. If you look at a filter, you will notice that only a 1/4 in surface on the filter threads, yet you have an inch of threads on the housing itself. You guys can do it however you like, I am just cautioning you on this.

noted but tthis write up was take right out of the helms.. no you dont need the tool though... (i didnt use it)
note: Put aluminum foil on the b-pipe, it'll keep all the oil from getting on there. Then take the foil off. The next time you drive, you won't have the oil on there that will heat up and burn off, making it stinky and smokey.

Damn how long does it take you to fill up your oil? That's a small funnel.
I never thought of wiping the filter seat on the block. Thanks
ahaha no its not a normal funnel, but its the only one i had.. and i was tryin to take a pic while pouring and i didnt want to spill it.. but i failed at that...
1. block off the rear tires
2. make sure the e-brake is engaged (pull the handle up)
3. jack up the front of the car
4. support it properly on jack-stands
