Oh also the biggest pain in the butt i ran into... I purchased the knuckles for the front on ebay. They are 99 prelude base model knuckles.. I put the passenger side on and lowered the car to the ground.. Then I noticed a really bad negative camber issue.. Turns out the knuckle was bent an inch and a half at the top.. So.... I had to use the 92 knuckles with 99 bearings pressed in.. I like the 92 knuckles better anyhow.. They have upper ball joint protectors and the brake line bosses are all in the correct location.. The bearings on the 99 are the same on the outer diameter, but the inner is a little larger than the 92

I had to take them off the mounts and hang them with safety wire from the upper a arm so the bleed nipple points up. Then I had to safety wire the rotor into the caliper while it was hanging then bleed them normally..
thats the biggest reason i disliked this whole conversion... i too used the Type-II calipers...

I'm thinking some braided lines will help.

as long as the wheel a high enough offset that you can use at least a 25mm wide adapter, there shouldn't be an issue
were do you find theses wheel adapters?
i want to someday do that set up you had with the s2k wheels...

I just ordered a set of adapters from rotiform that convert the 5x114.3 to 5x120.65 (corvette fitment) to throw a set of corvette saw blades on the prelude.

Google rotiform, when you call them up ask for brian...

When you use these things make sure to use some blue thread locker just to be on the safe side and inspect your OEM studs to make sure they're in good shape still... if not replace them, still cheaper to do than the whole 5 lug swap mess..

the only way the actual 5 lug conversion makes sense is if you're actually tracking/racing the car..

if your lude is a happy go lucky daily driver... that sees nothing more than an occasional agressive highway on ramp, i personally think the adapters are more than safe.

again, you want to get at least a 25mm spacer, for spacer strength but moreso for the fact that the even if your wheels have recesses in them, the 4 studs probably wont line up correctly with the recesses in the wheels... 25mm spacer should be enough to clear normal oem studs.

any questions or need a more detailed explanation dont hesitate to ask.

I lost mine cuz I didn't care. But if you want to keep it all you need are abs wheel sensors from the 5th gen.

Does anyone know how much power the cr-v axles can handle? I'm swapping an h22 into my accord and I'm confused on which axles to get for my 5 lug wheels

Update on 5 lug conversion for 4th gen.. After a year of driving I noticed the wheels have slack when you jack a corner up and wiggle the entire wheel.. The bearings were National brand and are wearing out. It is still smooth but should not have slack like that so quickly.. It might be the cheap brand, I did use the washers to take up the slack and tighten the cv axle to the hub.. the Legend GS brakes are really good..No brake fade at all and rotors do not warp.. Napa premiums.. The stopping power is impressive even with a prelude s base model braking system to power them..

Could it be the washer giving out?
What type of washer was it?
