i mean does it really matter though to the skeptical few? It's pretty much guaranteed your intake air temperature will be lowered, and that's an automatic +.

Check their web site. DR picked up 6WHP across the board after we swapped his in. It's a fair bit of work for the power but it's worth it in terms of responsiveness. Makes it feel like it's always cold outside.

ROFL what took them so long? Great mod. I've been considering having a phenolic replacement made for the gasket that goes between the blower adapter plate and the lower intake manifold for the JRSC setup.

usplastic.com sells Teflon sheet which is good (working temp) to 500F. It does have a decent expansion/contraction but should hold up OK if your IAT's don't get too high.

One thing that concerns me about the idea is that the intake manifold is basically a heat sink for the blower. If the blower is insulated from the manifold, it could end up getting hotter and producing hotter air, anyway, and possibly overheat the blower. So maybe it isn't such a 'hot' idea.

Sorry, people, but it turns out that Hondata didn't check quite all the applications... it turns out that they patterned the F22/F23 VTEC models and didn't actually test the F22A and H23A- and it DOES NOT fit. I've verified this on both models and let them know.

So at this time- there is NO Hondata insulator for either engine, sorry. It is possible to modify their F22/F23 VTEC gasket but it's honestly almost as easy to fabricate one yourself from scratch.
