Hondata question

So i was reading online about Hondata and tuning trying to learn more since i am very new to tuning. I know that if i wanted to tune the 93 Si that i would have to get rid of the p14 ecu and get p72 or p28 or another non-vtec ecu. Well i was told hondata only tunes MANUAL transmissions only! I was wondering is this true? If it is true then is there any way you can tune a automatic h23?? I know this is probably a stupid question but i searched and searched an can find no answers so i figured i would post a thread and see what fellow luder's think.

If I were you, I would just look into a piggy back like safc.

If you were really serious about getting hp, then you would get a h22a swap + manual.

You would have to get a different ecu but again, pointless since you don't have vtec. I am willing to bet a really good tune would put you into h23 manual territory as far as acceleration time (obviously a guess but you get the picture, you're starting from behind already).

Or if you want cheap hp, NOS.

Yeah i talked to the only dyno shop in my area and he said safc/neo is about the only way to go then asked if i was going to turbo it. Which i planned to but i think im gonna sell the 93 and then get a 5th gen base. See i already own two 4th gens i was just trying to see if the auto h23 had any potential, to tune with hondata which i really liked although EXPENSIVE. So all in all i will have a 4th and 5th gen or the 4th gen and 350z. But not two 4th gens thank you for your help
