honda prelude 2 whhel steer conversion from 4 wheel steer

hi i have a 92 import honda prelude 2.2 vtec and was wondering how i could get rid of the 4 wheel steer and convert it to a two wheel steer can anyone help cheers rich

You need to embrace 4ws, its so rare.
I'm pretty sure you could disable it somehow.

IIRC from reading a long time ago on honda-tech if you pull a certain fuse when the rear wheels are straight on, the 4ws system will hold them there when there's no power supplied...

Mine was a 97 so no 4ws and no.personal experience with that trick.above

When the fuse is removed or the 4WS is faulty, the rear wheels are only held facing forward by springs and as such they can still move when given enough force. In the UK there are reports of cars crabbing due to faulty 4WS. The only way to safely disable the 4WS is to get a 2WS rear fame and do a conversion.

The only time I would ever reccomend do this is if the 4WS is beyond economical repair, I like my 4WS on my 5G too much .
