Yes I do know that and way more tech then this the the kindergarden bs.
I figured you would know you would have the properly built engine to make use of the extra rpms capabilitys.
I'll try to add more details that so newbie's can understand too.

BTW it is common practice to shift after peak power. Say your peak power is at 250 hp 6000 rpm and at 205 hp at 6400 rpm. If you lose 1000 rpm on the shift and you just reach 205 hp at 5400 rpm, that would be the proper shift points for that gear. This will change in other gears because the rpm drop is different. The goal is to shift so the engine stays in the part of the powerband that makes the most power...
