They make a repair kit for holes in exhaust. Its only a temporary fix, and when you first put it on, dont rev up the engine for a while or it wont stay on. Its the only way I know of.

Dont use Duck Tape!!!

what wrong with duck tape? it fixes everything doesn't it? I am not gonna do that although i did think of it for just a temp (a few months) fix. I also thought of just cleaning up the hole to have a more free-flowing exhaust.

go to autozone or walmart. there are repair kits for 4-5 bucks.
this is only a temp. fix.

when you try for your state inspection... they require you have it "welded". Of course.. that's only if they see it. if you do a good enough job.. and the inspector doesnt see it.. you're good to go.

Most shops will repair holes in exhausts under $30 around here in Arkansas. if i were u, i would expect to pay around there for the repair.

i have the same problem i think...either a hole or a lose flange but i would take it to one of those type of places and have them fix it for under 50
