Hmmmmm....Volk?...

What would you think of these wheels..:on this car: gunmetal w/ a polished lip kinda like this: but in gunmetal(duh!) or just all silver? That's just a pic to give you an idea of a painted wheel with the polished lip.

let me know if i'm crazy...

those look very nice! I always liked those wheels. I always wanted them for my lude or the Se37. Both gunmetal and silver will look great on a black lude. I personally would probably go with silver b/c i like the classic look.

well, there's a great deal on groupbuycenter.com if you're interested. $1500 shipped to your door for 17x7.

So did i but i ended up getting my money back because i had to deal with some of the worst customer service that i had ever experienced. First it took 1.5 months to get the wheels to me. I was very excited until i looked at the sizes on the box and they were completely wrong. Wrong bolt pattern, wrong width and wrong offset. I figured it may just be a fluke but it wasn't because i went to go test fit one and it obviously didn't fit. So then i had to call them to tell them they sent me the wrong wheels and they had to replace them and pay for the shipping etc. Well that took a week to do for some reason and I had to keep CALLING THEM to find out what the hell was going on. Well, they finally were picked up and they never called to let me know if they received them and when they were going to send the right ones out. Well, after waiting another month i called and asked what the hell was going on. They claimed that their distributor only had received 3 of the 4 wheels and they were waiting on the last wheel to ship my RIGHT wheels. Oh and they never fvcking called me to let me know about this either. So i was like WHAT THE FVCK IS GOING ON?!? I had to fax them copies of the pick up reciept from UPS and they had to fax that to their distributor. Well, cleared that up finally and was pysched to get my wheels. After another fvcking month i wanted to send the business a fvcking mail bomb because now it was getting out of hand. I called and asked what was going on...AGAIN, and they hadn't even shipped anything out yet. Well, the young lady who was helping me out had to call me back and let me know what was going on. Finally, the manager calls me and tells me that racing hart doesn't make the CP-035s with my bolt pattern anymore and i could not get those wheels anymore. After all that bullsh!t and waiting months he calls and tells me that now!?!? I was just like send me my fvcking money back right away. Oh that took about 2 weeks to do. It was ridiculous bro. I wanted to kick and punch something and someone so hard. At one point i thought i was getting robbed but they are a legit business. So now i have 1800 bucks at hand and i want something special. I already ordered a RSR cat-back exhaust and i'm thinking about either buying a really nice set of wheels which this money was intended for or just saving it. If i do do that i would use my BBSs as my winter wheels because i sold my stock ones and i can't put anything less than 17" on my car for obvious reasons. Some fvcked up sh!t, eh?

damn gills, that's messed up that they fvcked you around like that. i feel for you buddy....i've had a similar experience waiting for parts that were misteriously discountinued 4 months after ordering (a ww rs kit....wtf - stupid shop).

those volks are pretty tite and would look sick in gunmetal with a polished lip. i too looked at the deal on groupbuycenter but i think i'm going to rather save up for some teins and paint my rims gunmetal w/ a polished lip.

good luck with whatever you decide
