High Tone Vs Low Tone

I know this is a silly topic to even bring up...but I'm curious. As stated in another thread, I have recently dropped a new motor into my 94 Si. I just finished my 500 break in miles today, so this was the first day I was able to "get on it" a bit. I immediately noticed that this new engine has that real high pitched scream right before redline, whereas my other h23 did not. I have the same intake, exhaust, etc. on there. So here is my question...the car had a few mods done to it when I got it (about 7 or 8 years ago), do you all think that anything could have been done in my old head (or block even) that would have createed that much deeper sound? Or maybe I have just forgotten what screaming hondas sound like since it's been so long for me. Haha. Thanks guys.

Your issue is too vague. It is very difficult to help you without hearing the car or being able to listen in-car to figure out what is causing your percieved change in tone.
