Anyone out there know what size light bulbs go in a 4th gen High Mount Brake Light. Thats the one that in the rear window. I've got a honda manual and it says 21cp which doesn't tell me jack. Appreciate any info.

Just take it out and match it up in the autoparts store
Its the same light that is in the side markers and also in the licence plate lights, and the front corners also. Its just a wedge bulb, really easy.
Has anyone tried the LED brake lights??? I just installed them a few days ago and they are such a deep red the my top break light looks almost light orange now. I got some deep red wedge bulbs for it but the still look like crap. Anyone got any suggestions? Also the Licence plate lights, anyone change those out for any other color, i was going to put bright whites in but i was told i would get a ticket.
a while back i had some extra red wedge bulbs lying around and i put them in as my license plate bulbs. They looked pretty cool. I was pulled over a few times for other things and they were never mentioned. I know they're not legal but unless you get a complete jack a$$ cop they shouldn't care.

it's not the same light as the sidemarkers, corners or licensce palte lights...it's bigger. it is 21cp. if you bring the bulb to an auto part store or ask, a friendly sales associate will help you. riptide, i dont think you got screwed on the lights. just wait til friday morning for the pic.
The stock lights are different true. But its the same connector and if you want to get any colored bulb or a artic white or somthing its the same smaller bulb. Its the same connector but the stock is bigger. I wish that the top light had the same bulb as the brake lights. Then i could use the LED's on top also.

Where you get LED lights and for how much? These act the same as the dual filament standard lights? I looked into them a while back, but they were rare and cost over $20.
I don't even have a high mounted brake light! How come? I have a 95 SE. Now, I do have a brake on the spoiler, but would that take away the high mounted brake light when the car was originally bought?
The LED lights were kinda expensive. 16$ each.
They work kinda like dual bulbs. When your lights are ON, there are four of the leds lit up. Then when you hit the brake another 8 come on. They look really damn good inside my Altezzas because they are a nice circle. Bad thing is that the high mount light color does not match. Im still working on that. Dark red bulbs are not dark enough. I wonder how long they will last. I got them from SCV Motorworks (http://www.scvmotorworks.com/) You can email Tony and ask him about them but i dont see them on the web site.
