For those who have retrofitted their JDM headlights, What'd you guys use for shrouds, to stop the light from coming out of the sides of the projector?
I'm currently putting in e46 projectors and I modified the e46 bezels to fit as well. Hopefully i'll get some pics up for everyone to see my novice work

ive seen a thread somewhere that they chromed the bottom of a beer can and used that around the projector, all they did was cut out the concave part out of the bottom of the can.
I found some HVAC piping at home depot that fit on my Valeo projectors just fine.

You can try those stainless steel mugs and just cut that out since they are sorta concave and you can just select the right size section to cut out. Thats your best bet ide say
I finally got them in, I'm actually using the e46 bezels. My shrouds are work very well, I didn't use any cans, or air ducts, but actually TAPE!
Well, metallic tape. I found it at homedepot, its used for outdoor sealing and withstands a lot of abuse from heat and weather. It formed around the projector nicely and has no light leaking out
When I get my car running, i'll post some pics. Overall this project wasn't very difficulty, just the thought of cutting holes and taking apart my jdm headlights was what worried me. The dremel is my new bestfriend.

Just try and prebake the part with the tape on it cause the burning of the strong adhesive inside a headlight might cause fogging and fog up inside the projector especially so try to do a pre burn, even better would be to take the lense and base apart and heat it up just to get the inital fumes off of it

I already baked my headlights back together, If they do fog up, have ot take it apart again, I'll let you guys know if they fog up.

what I normally use is headlight/taillight sealant that Nissan sells, and it works great. Haven't had any real problems with my lights or anyone elses lights fogging up....

I've always heard that Prelude1897 is the guy to go to for a retrofit. He does amazing work, and is pretty reasonable with his prices. He even does payment plans if you're not wanting to pay all at once
