HID here I come!

Finally got my headlights back from AndoOKC (my fault, not his.) The workmanship is very good. Hope to have them in soon, I stripped a bolt earlier so that's slowing me down. The projector doesn't stand out as much in person (the reflection makes it seem so.)

Badass.

How much did it all cost, if you don't mind me asking?

The groupbuy was $625 installed plus shipping when I did it (search for "HID" it's the big groupbuy thread.) I believe now it's an extra $20 for the new style projector cover (I got it for free since I was the first 4G he did like that.) AFAIK they aren't doing another groupbuy for a while but e-mail Ando if interested. I got the upgraded harness from suvlights.com which is optional ($45 shipped but takes a while to get it.) Plus I got a spare set of housings so I can sell them when I sell the car. So for just the lights with basic shipping about $700. I think they were working on buying a set of housings to do a "core return" type situation. That way people don't have to take their cars down for a couple weeks while the lights are being retrofitted.

I'll take better lighting over vanity but Ando can retrofit JDM's too.

I was just giving you a hard time. You'll have to post some pics up of the lighting when you are done putting them back in. I couple of 5th gen owners have done about the same things as your. One of them used BMW projectors I believe.

Most of the people who did the groupbuy were 5G owners. Because it uses a projector the beam pattern will be exactly the same as in any other car using them. In that groupbuy thread they have some good pics from an Accord showing the beam pattern. Anyways, ya I'll be taking pics but you can see what it looks like in that big thread.

glad you like them...i imagine they will look VERY nice on the car and yes the beam pattern will be EXACTLY like a BMW 3 series or an Audi TT. Welcome to the world of HID lighting.
