with OEM headlights (non projectors) you will see but you will blind
with aftermarket headlights projectors (halogen) you wont see... because the bowl reflector is made for the filament (what makes the light in the bulbs)

the halogen bulbs have the filament horizontal (--), and HID have it vertical ( | )
the difference in projectors is the bowl,
halogen = smaller diameter
hid = big diameter

you cant just buy the bowl because the bowl is designed to work with an specific distance of the lens

That's what a lot of people do, and it works great.

comparing them with other projectors... comming from other cars not aftermarket

from what i read... they shold be the best because the lens are clear,

most of the other projectors you can see like circular lines in the lens, not scratch, like if they were made by layers or something like that

the result of clear lenses is a better output, less distorsion

Well, I know this might not be the best way around, but I've found a nice HID kit on DDMtuning.com. I've heard a lot of good comments on them. Since I'm not full of cash, I'm not planning on doing a retrofit. I will simply use the stock headlights and change the bulbs and install the ballasts. I know I have seen our cars need H1 55w for headlights, but is that wattage still the right one for a HID conversion ? The kit on DDM says the 55w can concentrate a large amount of heat at the same spot, could that melt anything in my headlights? Also, for the bulbs to be secure in place, I've heard I should get an X-clip from a RSX... Is that necessary? I know my headlights will probably glare a lot more after the conversion and that I will have to re-aim my headlights to reduce glare. Thanks for your answers guys.
