Has anyone installed one of these on their 2.3L lude and if so what kind of gains did they notice?

It will help if you have the rest of the exhaust system. The stock cat is very restrictive. I actiually have a stock gutted cat for sale $20 or a nice chrome test pipe for $50. I passed emissions with the test pipe (it looks like a cat) and cat-back and header....so full exhaust and I passed the sniffer and safety. Let me know if you're interested in either.

...welll if you have stock piping you won't notice anything. if you have custom piping and either have a hi flow cat or remove the cat altogether, you'll notice a difference. i did. i had no cat and 2.5 piping.... and my new setup now is a hi flow cat, 2.5" piping, a resonator, to my greddy PE muffler, sounds way better than before, and yet still has that gain. i paid $80 for the piping to be custom mandrel bent, and all.... great investment. and better gains than paying $500 + for a catback system.

running a test pip enow and used to run it on my accord hybrid. also used a gutted cat before.

you definitely feel the gains top end. not much so mid or low, but top end is much improved.

instead of paying all that money for a high flow cat.

spend $45 like i did from test-pipe.com. keep your old cat for when you need to get the car inspected.

Airmass/Holley

I've got the Airmass/Holley high flow cat and once it got broken in well it made the exhaust tone deeper.
Deep=better in my opinion.
Along with DC Sports header and cat-back it sound super sweet now.
