hey noob to preludes qwick question

hey whats up guys new to preludes which are a lil diffrent then my Civic i just picked up a 92 prelude si automatic for a 100$ but theres no engine i dont have a problem swapping them cuz im use to my civic but had a qwick question will a F23A1 Work in my prelude? any thing helps guys

just put in a h22 and save yourself all the trouble of wondering and questioning about hp etc

ya if you can get you hands on a h series, h22 perferably it'd be better off. but to answer your question, yes it will go in, but its a big power drop even from the stock h23..

EDIT: UNLESS your planning on boosting it? because in which case that motor would be a good choice, being that it comes stock with 9.3:1 compression..

unless you got the money to boost right away id go with the h22 for the instant gratification when vtec cracks.lol
