Hey, just joined
Well, I am an active member at Honda Tech, and at SA (If you are there you know what this is).
I just bought a 94Si with 60k miles on it. H23 goodness with a 5 speed. Dark blue.
I sure would love to know anything that I should.
BTW - I am first going to be making my own ghetto cold air box with a nice heat shield.

Well, I am coming off a D16Z6 so I know enough about Hondas but I was really just wondering if there is anything special to know about this car. I am putting in some Mobil Tri-Synth as my real first thing, then onto I/H/E.
What are good sites to buy things from? Basically, what should I know about this thing.

Yeah... 60k is pretty low for an 94 Si. I have 136k on my 92 Si, and she is still strong as ever. So Welcome to the board, the wealth of info here is amazing.
Hope to see you getting into the discussions soon.

Ya, that is a very rare color
very nice find!
Basically, first off youre going to really enjoy the powerband and
torque in the H23. You'll also REALLY appreciate the luxioury (sp?)of the prelude. It's wide stance gives it a really solid platform for handling. I dont know what your goals are power wise but with only 60k you can check your compression which is probaly top notch and spray NOS upto a 75 shot regularly(not too much though). The H23 engine is one of the better platforms of the H series for a turbo setup. If you like NA, you have either the infamous H23 Vtec or a JDM H22 swap and can get lots of help in this department in the NA forum. AS well as the nitrous and boost forums. This $7, or what ever it is to join will be the best $ you will spend on the lude
Great to have a new member!

Yes, SA is Something Awful.
I was planning on doing an H23 Vtec setup. I tried search a few times but never found a really good how to post.

It's in the Naturally aspirated forum, where you need to be if you want to do any serious engine work. I just happen to moderate it
And I busted an 200whp+ H23 VTEC so I have some experience.
