Hey whats up guys!
I'm new to the board and just wanted to say whats up and get some advice from anyone who has some free time to post advice
I have my baby honda prelude '92 and need some advice on it. It has 130,000 miles ( i got it used) and worked like a dream car. Recently, I was in a very bad accident which basicly took out the front end of the car. The bumper and all the stuff for the bumper (guard and all of that), driver's side headlights, driver's fender, all of the bumpers lights (turn signals and stuff) and the side lights on the headlights on both sides are missing. Since the car even started after the accident and I loved the car way 2 much to trash it even when the bodyshop decided to give me an estimate of 10k (the car was only 4k!) I decided to have some friends who finished schooling in car bodywork try and fix the car at a friends repair shop. Well, 3 weeks later the car looks like its never been hit. I am sooooo happy about this because my baby is starting to look soooo good again ! Now, i purchased a new genuine honda fender and hood and radiator which all was put in. I decided that since the bumper was close to the same price of a bodykit bumper that I would buy the bodykit bumper which was the omega bumper. Now, I need to purchase all the other stuff like headlights and stuff. Since I have one original headlight (right side) should I buy just another genuine one for the left or should I buy some other headlights that will look cooler? I was looking at these but they look kinda cheap compare to the real ones http://216.82.69.117/search_results....el=2&subcat=72
What do u guys think? next what do u guys think would be good to put on the car and make it nice and hooked up? I was thinking of under car light. Also I saw a prelude that had the heating/cooling on the dashboard like electronic or something and it loooked really cool! Well anyways any suggestions/help plz post! Yeah I know my spelling in this was poor and its a long post but thx for reading
i don't like the way those projectors look. get the JDM 1 piece headlights. they come in either black or chrome housing. go for average of 290 for a pair.
also you are talking about JDM climate control. you can find that on ebay, but to get the full functionality of it is very hard. you can run some searches and find out. i believe u can have it running semi-functional.
Oh and here is a tip for posting in the Technical Help Section: Your thread title should have the subject of your question in it, like for this thread and idea thread title would be:
Rebuilding front end, need opinions on headlights
So of us get annoyed with the: Click here Help Me thread titles
Definitely go with the One Piece JDM Black Housing Lights. You can purchase them for $229.00/pair plus shipping at www.passwordjdm.com. That is by far the cheapest I have seen them being sold. Plus, there have been several customers who have vouched for the company with positive feedback.
In my opinion, I don't think you should go with the "under car light". Maybe I'm biased because I like the looks of the 4th gen to be as close to stock as possible, but I guarantee you that those lights are not going to help boost the looks or performance of your car by any means. That brings me to the question of: do you want your lude to be all go or just for show? In otherwards, what is "your" definition of having your car "hooked up"?
If you already have the climate control in your car, I wouldn't advise you do the JDM conversion unless yours is in bad condition now. It seems like a highly prestigious process with tedious work involved. It probably takes a lot of patience to, especially taking apart the entire dash! Whew...
What color is your car right now? Is your car lowered by any chance? Do you have rims? Let us know what mods you previously have done to your car so that we can help you narrow down various ideas. If I sounded rude in anything I have just said, I apologize. I just want to try and help you to the best that I can. I am fairly new to the import scene, so I am constantly learning new things, but I will always take the time out to help another luder. Good luck with your "back-to-new" lude! PM me if you have any other concerns regarding your car.

Did they really? I knew something was iffy when I revisited the site, they had changed it all around. But maybe if he brings this link up to the company, they will still honor that price. Here is your ticket to heaven: https://host32.ipowerweb.com/%7Epassword/passJDM2.htm. Scroll down to BB Prelude JDM Headlights.
Hi Scotty, hope you're having a great time at work!
hey everyone! wow thx for all the replies! Qveon and rest who got mad that i posted in wrong way then im sorry bro's !
thx again for all the replies !! JDM girl thx u for the link and stuff ! I'm prob going to buy the JDM headlights then since its close to the price of original. Some info on my car is
My car is black (I'm not sure if the guy had it painted or if he took care of it really good but I think he just took care of it nicely)
I like cars mostly for looks since i don't see the point in speed. I have lots of friends who spend money into speed and I don't see why since the only time they actually unleash the power is when they go to a track. I rather have it hooked up more on the outside. I want to put in a really nice sound system but so far i only got the component Perfect sound kappa speakers ( 4 speakers = 800$ original price but i got em for $300 from sounddomain.com)
I don't have any rims and I didn't really do anything to the car but now that im allrdy repairing it and it needs stuff install anyways now, I might as well go for performance parts and look then put stock parts on. I always been interested in cars and trying to learn about them but to be honest and as you can probably tell, Im not very knowledgeable in cars so the more help the better. Also. does anyone here live in NJ? is there any other info u guys need to know about the car? Again, much thx all for ur help !!!!
o and my car isn't lowered since i think preludes are allrdy lower than most cars! I can't wait to get my baby back! It's also getting custom paint picture on the hood of a tiger like riping out of the hood
