hey guys im new :)

hey everyone my name is grace and im in the process of getting new rims and tires for my car. its a 96 honda prelude vtec, i was just wondering what size i should get. i was thinking about getting 17 inch rims but i dont want them to look big on my car. what size do you guys have? and what size looks good?

17's are prob the biggest that you would want to go, but it's gonna look like a 4x4 if you don't lower it some also.

oops sorry let me try again kyowa 626 rims and tires packages. kyowa 626 black flat wheels and tires packages at WheelsNext.com and its going to have 205/40/17 falken tires

Get 16's or 17's only.

I had 18's on my 5th gen...but I wouldn't recommend them. I'm glad I got rid of them.

Those wheels in the link you posted will fit just fine. You might want to consider 215/45/17 tires to go with them.

why not 205/40/17? i like the thin tire look but i dont want the rim to be to big you know?

215's yield a little more rubber on the road, which will result in better traction. Running a 45 vs. 40 series tires will help a little with rim protection and ride quality. I bought a 40 series tire for my 17's, but I immediately wished I got a 45 once I got them mounted. There is very little side wall height on a 215/40/17 tire. It would be even less on a 205/40/17.

the website im buying the rims from only allow me to get 205/40/17 with the falken tires i want tho

It is possible that falken doesn't make tires in the other size I suggested. 205/40/17 will work if you are dead-set on that tire, but IMO 215/45/17 would be a better choice.
