I would do the things that cost virtually nothing.. like take off the fender and try to bend the metal where its been hit good enough to put a blinker back in the place were it goes. All the routine mantinece that may have been neglected by the previous owner

Is this car going to be your daily driver or do you have other transportation?

Ive had two 3rd gen preludes but this is my first 4th gen its under "the $600 project" thread.I was just kinda on here trying to get some ideas same as you. Id trade ya cars in a heartbeat I'm not so much on the ticket me red color of mine. I like the 5spd in mine but h series auto trannys can be picked up jdm for $200 pretty easy.

DFW auto trannys are pretty much left overs from the H22 swaps that still had good 5spd trannys or at least thats what Im told.

Um, don't know off hand, haven't done it..

But I know you'll at least need the following:

Pedals Assemblies
Clutch Master, Slaves, Lines, etc.
Transmission
Clutch
Flywheel
Bolts for Flywheel
New ECU

Possibly more.. There's writes every where on this.. I'm sure you could find a more complete list.. I have some of the stuff if you wanted it..

lol, No. B/D-Series is not interchangeable with H/F-Series.

You'll want Prelude Parts.. Some Accord things might work..

90? 90 What? '90 Year Model Prelude?

You'll want 4thGen Parts.. Some 5thGen Parts will interchange and work.

4thGen - Pedals Assemblies

4thGen or 5thGen - Clutch Master, Slaves, Lines, etc. (Not sure on the lines though.)

H/F-Series Related - Transmission, Clutch, Flywheel, Bolts for Flywheel (I assume the bolts will be the same, don't know why they wouldn't be. Can check for sure.)

4thGen - New ECU

I have my old Master and hard lines, damper, etc, and also a new set of Flywheel bolts and a new Clutch Fork. I have a new slave, but the bleeder screw is broken off inside of it, so it'll need to be drilled out..

Um... Took me a few times to figure out what you were asking..

Can you swap out your non-VTEC F22 Cylinder Head for another F22 SOHC VTEC Cylinder Head? - This what you're asking?

If so, I'd say yes, but don really think it'd be worth it.

People do swap the H22 VTEC Cylinder Head onto the H23A1 non-VTEC..
