Hi guy i am new to the preludes.
i got a 92 S automatic so cheap i couldnt pass it up only 750.
it run great but need a fender and winshield.
tell me what u think has 140000mile on it
I would do the things that cost virtually nothing.. like take off the fender and try to bend the metal where its been hit good enough to put a blinker back in the place were it goes. All the routine mantinece that may have been neglected by the previous owner
Is this car going to be your daily driver or do you have other transportation?
Ive had two 3rd gen preludes but this is my first 4th gen its under "the $600 project" thread.I was just kinda on here trying to get some ideas same as you. Id trade ya cars in a heartbeat I'm not so much on the ticket me red color of mine. I like the 5spd in mine but h series auto trannys can be picked up jdm for $200 pretty easy.
4thGen or 5thGen - Clutch Master, Slaves, Lines, etc. (Not sure on the lines though.)
H/F-Series Related - Transmission, Clutch, Flywheel, Bolts for Flywheel (I assume the bolts will be the same, don't know why they wouldn't be. Can check for sure.)
4thGen - New ECU
I have my old Master and hard lines, damper, etc, and also a new set of Flywheel bolts and a new Clutch Fork. I have a new slave, but the bleeder screw is broken off inside of it, so it'll need to be drilled out..
