Hey the CF Lip Mold Has been Pulled. - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey guys I open a new post every time a new stage is done so u know that it is not just a random post on a long thread. But anyway back to the point. The dude thats doing it for me called me up today an told me that he had pulled the mold off the tool an he had to do a lil more reinforcing over the next day or so an he would be ready to start runnin them off. I am gonna run by there on my way to the gym in the morning an grab u guys some pics look for some pics by about 12PM tomorrow.

I'd really love to see you put it on the ground right under your car. Then we can photoshop it removing the gap (since it will be in the right angle), and see how it looks on the lude.

anyways...just like i said before, i'm getting one from dane too.....so i can compare the difference between dane's and Tab's cf lips...good job Dane.....

Hey hey hey I got em

OK here is the scoop of the day.

The mold has to endure quite a bit of pressure pushing down on it doing the bagging process so he is going to have to put steel tubing around the mold to help reinforce it. He will also be have in to trim the mold to spec.

An just for u guys looking at it saying " How is it gonna look good if it its put around the outside of the mold cause that looks rough." the CF is layed with in the mold on that slick gel coat surface u see. Any other questions hit me up on my email or IM me on AIM my SN is BlueLude1
