I personally would never buy a car that's already been modded. Even this one. It's nice and all, but think about it. Why would someone go to the lengths that he has to make his car nice and fast, and then sell it? Makes me curious.

EDIT: Never mind. He's moving out of the country. Man, I'd be takin' that biatch with me!! I would still be leery. But it's probably just me. I like to do my own work.

yep. No fun at all. Its like cheating on some video game only to finish the whole game in like 2 hrs-- takes the fun factor away & no challenge at all If I were him, I'd part it out or sell all the mods and return the car to stock form. Just my $.02.

As long as it all works properly I think that'd be a good car to buy.

wow, thats a tight car.
I dont totally agree with the other guys. I dont think the car will RUN for too long. SO getting board driving it prolly wont happen. With all those MODS the car will need extensive tuning and maintanance. There are alot of mods but i wouldnt say its finished. Theres a long way to go. Good luck. Its a good deal, but you better check up on it. I wouldnt wana buy a lemon.

That is one nice car! With all those mods you'd expect him to be asking more than $10,875 like most people on autotrader that jack the price up because it's modded. That alone makes me suspicous. I doubt he could part it out though, he's got a stroker kit --pistons, crank, and whatnot. If everything checked out and it drove perfectly, I don't see what's wrong with buying it though.

I'd buy it, but with proof that he has done all those internal mods.

If it's really built by Jun, I'd take that car in a flash...

pinkdotts: wow...I'm glad that some one besides me knows about the Legendary Pink Dots....neat-o.

I can't load the page from autotrader, but does this guy live in Oregon or Washington? I know of a prelude up there with the same sort of mods. Last time I heard, he couldn't get the stroker kit working right. Had to take out the oil squirters and then (unrelated) it was giving him all sorts of timing belt trouble...

Buy it!!!!! why not? but make sure you check the condition of it. Then if after all, you don't like the mod then part it out and sell it on this board, and get yourself something else. It's allgood!!!

GO GO GO!!! Fire in that hole!!!

I personally would love to buy that car only if , as stated earlier proof of internals. I love imports and I love to tune on them, but one of my biggest problems is that I have a family and priorities conflict with things like this, but I still love to do it back to the problem, it's a money thing. Internal mods specially from a reputable tuner like jun or mugen cost so much that it would take me forever to buy things like that. I would buy it and just add my own flavor to it . mY two cents.

10,000! Seems too cheap. I payed 10 for my 95, I hope there's something wrong with it. Not really just makes me jealous.

that car is either the deal of the decade, or the biggest rip-off in history.

Run a carfax, check his recipts, and take someone with you who knows 4th gen vtecs. when you look/drive it.

If everything he says is true, and he really is moving, its probably a deal. Or, he just fixed it up a little bit and is BSing his way out of a stolen or trash car.

Also, check the basics.... cv joints, compression test, oil, read the plugs, etc.

good luck. (i think I would buy it )
