hesitation gone, hello vibrations

I had the low rpm(~2000) hesitation, but after installing ES motor mount inserts this past weekend, I no longer have that hesitation. The front mount looked ok, but the rear had a small tear in it, although it had held it's shape ok.
The inserts fit really well in this car, much better than in my 94 Sentra SE-R, but we did have to cut the rear inserts for putting the bolts back on.

Don't let anyone fool you, you will feel a tremendous amount of vibration with these inserts when idling, especially with the a/c on. I am getting used to it though, and am not regretting it one bit since the car feels so much more responsive.

i have to agree with you.....the vibrations with the AC on are horrible. i actually removed mine because the old lady complained about it all the time. i am half tempted to put some back in tho because as of late i have a "loose" feeling when i stomp the gas and i think its from a worn rear mount. so i know an easy fix would be to throw some poly inserts back in there. i did love how precise the gas felt when i used to punch it with the inserts in. seemed to give you alot more direct power to the ground. did you torque the mounts back to spec after you installed them? i didnt, and i always wondered if that was why?

After I Installed my AEM tru time pulleys (and the crower cams) the car idles between about 750 - 800 rpms. Even with the A/C turned on, I do not get any vibration anymore. I Love it

quickprelude - no, couldn't fit the torque wrench on some of the bolts, just gave it some oooomphhh, I don't think it contributes to the vibrations.. thats just how they are.

96LudeVTEC -my idle is usually at 800rpm, except when the a/c compressor shuts on and off, so the pulleys and cams increased your idle, or did it just seem to make it smoother overall?

on a side note.. it does feel less harsh now.. probably just getting used to it though... heheh
