TTT what hesitation are we talking about here guys? a Vibration hesitation or a "pull-back" sensation at about 3K rpm?

The latter was fixed by re-torquing my grounding wires, vibration (only when cold) was fixed with valve adjustment... can't really think of anything else, but the car's been sweet ever since (touch wood)

REVIVED! ALELUJAH! yeah, I have hesitation. I have a 5gen w/ JDM H22A, OBDII, w/ new CPS, Dizzy, plugs, wires. I don't so much have loss of acceleration, but I actually slow down. If I increase throttle, it will wait a couple of seconds and then shoot me back into the seat, like flipping a 'go' switch. I hooked up a computer diagnostic machine and found the TPS to be functioning okay, but there are two titles for the fuel system. I forget the names of them, but they are both off when the engine hesitates. When the engine regains power, the fuel systems both switch "on", or "system ok" or whatever. Either way, the fuel system doesn't seem to be on when my engine hesitates.

Does the ECU go into open loop at full or 3/4 throttle? If so, that might explain why the fuel systems turn on when I give it gas, seeing the ECU switches modes. Just a theory...

Hmmm, anyone figured this out by now?

When you check the TPS sensor, hook up a voltmeter and make sure the voltage steadily increases from 0.5v to 4.5v. If it drops out anywhere in between, its bad.

I have a 93 SRV w/ a JDM h22a engine sitting @ about 90,000 kms. After the car warms up, I notice it gets bogged down in each gear @ about 3-4000 rpms. She accelerates fine upto this point then it just feels like something grabbed unto my rear bumper. I have changed: plugs, wires, disty cap and rotor, added good quality fuel injector cleaner a few times, high octane gas always, but still no luck. Could it be fuel issues?? The air filter looks ok. If anyone has had these symptoms or have any ideas, your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

So after months and months and MONTHS of trying to solve this here issue i went back to the drawing board after trying new plugs, leads, filters, oil, injector cleaner, octane booster, fuel pressure regulator, thermostat etc etc i drained the whole cooling system as in detached all the the hoses from the block and radiator etc. And refilled the radiator and so far so good. Maybe i just got lucky and cleared an air bubble who knows but i am no longer haunted by this problem. And i've got my baby back.

And i sympathize with all of you who are still plagued by this problem because i know that there is no fun in driving if you can't hit that magic number : ) So now instead of selling the Lude im gonna look at some mods..

Goodluck to everyone out there
