Hesitation

I kno this is a very infamous problem with alot of the prelude owners out there.. I did do a search on this topic, tons of stuff came up. But I only noticed a few people have this problem when the car starts up. For me, the ONLY time i have this problem is when i start the car in the morning (or for the 1st time of that day). If i let the car warm up for say 10min (till the temp bar goes to the 1/2 mark) the car is cool, no problems what so ever. I can turn the car off, leave it off for say 6hrs, come back and start the car, drive it and have no problems. The car will bog/shake violently (hesitates) if i try to step on it (even 1/2 throttle) when cold in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. The car has new plugs, wires, cap n rotor. Has anyone else faced the same problems i'm describing? I'm asking since most of the threads i read on this was people having this problem randomly (alot with in warmer climate situations), my car does this every day, its like my car is PMSing on me every morning if i don't warm it up for at least 10-15min.

I heard that replacing the Main Fuel Relay (it's red located under your steering wheel) will fix the problem. Am I right?

I run 91 octane since that's what is offered here in California as premium pump gas.

As for the fuel filter, the last time i replaced it was about 15k ago.

The car does not throw any CEL codes when it is doing the hesitatiion.

I will check/possibly replace the Main fuel relay and the fuel filter.

Any other suggestions? I read about knock sensor and the igniter could cause similar problems?

Again thanks for suggestions or any help.
