Here is the info, what year is my h22 from and what engine is my distributor from

1992 Prelude si 4ws
H22A LSD Automatic

Trying to find out when my engine was made and was told this was the info I was looking for, I see there is a 96 in there but I am OBD1 so???? Also I am tryin to figure out if my distributor is from an H22 or from the orig. H23...

I was told that the way to read that would be Auguest First 1996.

Thats what I thought but I am OBD1, still looking for info on the distributor, it has a seperate coil.

well i'm 99% sure its the internal distributor because, like you, didn't see an external distributor.

normally you switch over to the h23 distributor when doing the swap. you will have that extra coil sitting in that blank spot between the distributor and intake piping. I dont' see it which leads me to believe you still have the internal distributor. also, it wouldn't be obd2 because their distributors are totally different

No i dont have the internal distributor, I have an MSD Blaster coil mounted on the spring perch. I dont have a place for the little coil on my distributor either. Is there a number on the Distributor cap I could look up?
