basically does anyone have any suggestions on parts to get for my engine to be dropped into my 4th gen 95 prelude, it'll be a euro-R h22a, please dont' tell me it's bad to get euro-R or whatevers, my mind is very set on that, i have the money to do it, so this is not a bull**** thread, so tell me stuff like gaskets, pcv valve, etc etc., and not like the distributor stuffs, cause that is a must-do and will be changed no matter what. Thank you your input is VERY MUCH appreciated
ok basically does anyone have any suggestions on parts to buy to help the reliability of my engine to be dropped as in gaskets, pcv valve, fuel pump, etc...

Depending on the k's of the engine, if your going to drop a euro-r in stock form .. then just do all the regular maintenance... what ecu are you running? if not the euro-r then tune it.. vafc .. keep those fuel curves good .. always use the same kind of gas, good oil changes etc.
do the timing belt straight off, valve adjustment .. all the regular stuff you would do to an older engine to help renew it .. compression test etc.
honda engines are reliable stock form so .. should be aight, good luck .. take lots of photos and update us with your progress.

I heard they make a new Positive crankcase ventilation valve that makes like 30 hp to the wheels!! ........ Just go with OEM one man. As far as gaskets, OEM ones do good as well. I'd especially recommend not investing too much into the Head gasket. It's not worth it. I hope you don't really want to lower the reliability of the engine. I think you left a few words out. Are you going to keep the engine stock or what?

I don't know what I can contribute, only that I'm green with envy. I'm sure you'll change the oil after you get it, but make sure you flush the transmission. Honda makes MTF, but check to see if that will be suitable for your [in best gollum impersonation] "precious" LSD. I'll echo what's been said, take lots of pictures.
yes very stock, except for sri, header, exhaust, the chip should be the one from the h22a1 that is in the prelude right now, soo the p14? supposedly it should work, later to be chipped with p28... but thats way later unless i get lotsa money, and i have to go do a whole research thing on that.... so basically yes it will stay very stock, when i meant change pcv valve and gaskets, i meant changing with stock but new ones, IF THIS HELPS, if it does not please inform me right now,
i think i might just take the engine to the shop and ask them to tell me every little thing they can think of that needs to be changed... unless someone suggests otherwise right here

yeah, stock will still be laying down 220 fwhp, so before any modification whatsoever, that's pretty good power. Do you have a place in mind where you're buying from? If so, pm me and lemme know.
