Does anyone know of an easy way to undo the clutch hardlines. Im replacing my slave and master cylinders and have both basically removed ready for the new ones but can not get the hardlines off either of them. Ive been at it for hours, its like they are cemented on. I hosed the bolts down with wd-40 and still no luck. I gave up for today but need to get it done in the am.
Please give me something! hah
You need to use the right tool for the job.
A flare nut wrench AKA 'line wrench' here is a pic they are used for fuel, hydro clutch, and brake lines/fittings

cool thank you so much...yeh i guess it helps if id have the right type of wrench and not just a regular kind. do you know of the top of your head what size the nut is for the clutch line
Probably a 10MM or 12MM. You can get at Sears. The slave cylinder bleeder nipple is 8MM, but you don't need a line wrench for it.
I will check on my car when i get home from work to let you know exactly what the size is.
