HELP...Start up issues

Hey guys, here the deal, when i try and start my car i doesnt turn on. it does crank and everything so i know its not the battery. I have to try 3 or 4 times to get it started. other times i turn it on and it does turn on and immediatley dies. This doesnt happen everytime i start my car but every so often. I happened yesterday at 2 different times and id like to go to the Spaghetti Factory meet...but like this i dont think its going to happen.

do you think it could be the fuel filter or fuel pump...when i performed my last tune up which was recenetly i didnt change the fuel filter and im hoping thats the cause....any opinons on what might be the problem.

btw the car runs great and theres no problems what so ever only when i try and start my car sometimes...

Sounds to me like the fuel pump relay could be going bad.

might be the ignition switch

next time it doesn't start, try banging the bottom of the steering column near the switch

Try unplugging the fuel relay and plugging it back in. Sometimes the connections get loose on there own. I have had the same trouble and I unplugged and replugged the relay and the car started right up.

It also could be a faulty main relay, in which case you can replace it with another Prelude main relay or an Accord main relay.
