Let the body shop do it, the guy who painted my car had a special electric tool for it that cut through the glue since it's glued in there with 3 clips, 1 in each corner. Pretty sure the Helms manual covers it or if you are doing the body work yourself maybe you can pay a glass company to remove it.

^ yeah definitely like he said, if you wanna do it yourself get a Helms. I think Chilton's also covers that.

just go to ebay and buy a Helms manual, they are cheap as hell. You can also pick up a Chilton's. If you wanna go all out and have some money to spend you can get the Honda OEM bodywork manual from the dealership. I hope they are not discontinued.

I will go try to dig out my Manual from storage and take some photos of the removal process for you. Let me see what I can do.

I looked in Chiltons. They dont have much info. All it says remove weather stripping and then the screws that hold the glass lol. What a crap manual.

what gen is your prelude? I just went to Google and there is a ton of info on how to remove the rear quarter glass.

you should just search on Google. check this thread there is some info here: How to remove rear quarter windows (5th gen)

u need a special tool for this. There are also many things that can go wrong.

There are a few DIY online for this, but all the pics are no longer hosted.

Let the pros do it.

While the Helms manual does cover it you need special tools, I may not have painted the car but I was there every day I had off to help out so and watched him remove all the glass. I can say I've taken my car completely apart and put it back together again since only I work on the car minus the body guy who painted it.

Make sure you get one from up north where the brutal heat hasn't made the rubber around it curl back so it doesn't sit against the body like mine did. There is a for sale section btw.
