HELP | quick HID question

I got JDM 1Piece headlights, I read that they are H4's (for lowbeams), so if I got a HID kit, I simply get the H4 Application? and do i need to modify anything ... Oh and which is the best HID kit to get.

Thanks

Yea...get an H4 kit...u will lose ur high beams tho...unless u wanna pay for the dual kit, which has the high beam, but costs alot more...not sure about which kits i would recommend, but definately look for something that uses Hella ballasts and Philips bulbs...u can easily retrofit an HID kit from an Audi or wutever car u like...

yeah, u can definitely just install a H4 HID kit in those JDM's. Although, some kits will look better than others. The best retro-fit kit i think are: Bellof , Catz or the TRD HID kit. All three of these kits are quality stuff. The Phillips Ultinon kit looks pretty nice too, although I heard that the bulbs are based in Taiwan or Korea. An HID kit in the JDM's does't get great results like they may in other headlights depending on the kit. Light doesn't fill my entire headlight w/the Catz Hi/lo kit, vs. the infamous Alexlude uses the SPW Industries HID kit and for some reason or another, his Hi/lo HID kit fills in light entirely for the JDM's. go figure. Best results are retrofit real HID projects in the JDM's.
